By the end of the class, students will be able to: • Introduction to the CMS Global East-West program’s academic model and the role of instructors and advisors. • Identify academic resources available to students in the CMS Global East-West platform. • Knowledge of the academic policies and expectation of the CMS Global East-West program. • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking in text and lecture to personal experiences • Ability to take notes and study from material gained in an English language lecture • Knowledge of how to function in a U.S. academic discussion group • Ability to conduct a presentation both verbal and video in English language. • Increased knowledge of the U.S. academic structure and academic expectations. • Improved ability to research and write towards the U.S. university level. 适用人群：准备前往美国接受高等教育的学生
