［电影］Big Fish & Begonia大鱼海棠，赴你十二年之约

所有活着的人类，都是大海里一条巨大的鱼，出生的时候他们从海的此岸出发。

他们的生命就像横越大海，有时相遇，有时分开……

死的时候，他们便到了岸，各去各的世界。 

四十五亿年前，这个星球上，只有一片汪洋大海，和一群古老的大鱼。

在与人类世界平行的空间里，生活着一个规规矩矩、遵守秩序的族群，

他们为神工作，掌管世界万物运行规律，也掌管人类的灵魂。

他们的天空与人类世界的大海相连。

他们既不是神，也不是人，他们是“其他人”。

少女椿，作为家族的继承人，掌管着海棠花的生长。

十六岁生日那天，椿变作一条海豚到人间巡礼，被大海中的一张网困住，

一个人类男孩因为救她而落入深海死去。

为了报恩，为了让人类男孩复活，

她需要在自己的世界里，历经种种困难与阻碍，

帮助死后男孩的灵魂——

一条拇指那么大的小鱼，成长为一条比鲸更巨大的鱼并回归大海 。

“Our dream is to make a heart-touching animation film, which will bring teenagers power of love and faith.”

The film, formerly titled "Big Fish & Begonia," is directed by Liang Xuan and Zhang Chun. The story was inspired by a myth from the ancient Chinese Taoist classic Zhuangzi. The film also integrates many stories from other Chinese classics such as Classic of Mountains and Seas and In Search of the Supernatural.

这部电影，其前身名为“大鱼＆海棠”，是梁旋和张春导演。这个故事由古代中国道教的经典神话的启发庄子。该片还集成了其他中国经典的故事，如山海经和超自然的搜索。

Liang Xuan and Zhang Chun spent many difficult years together on the project. It began when they made a short flash animation called Big Fish & Begonia and put it online in May 2004. The film was well acclaimed and they decided to make it into a feature-length film, forming B&T Studio in 2005. However, they couldn't get funding for the film until 2007, when a small amount of money finally came in.

梁旋和张春为了这个项目一起度过了许多艰难的岁月。2004年5月，他们做了小短片大鱼-海棠并把它放到了网上，短片获得了很好的赞誉，于是他们决定把它变成长篇电影，2005年成立B＆T工作室。然而，他们没有获得足够的电影基金，直到2007年，终于获得了一小笔投资。

The two immersed themselves in the project, but the money quickly ran out. They finished the script in 2009, but, despite the fact that many investors were interested in the fantasy world made up for the film, no one believed that such a film could sell on the market. The project was filed away for several years and revived after Liang posted on Weibo in June 2013, China's microblogging website, asking for help and spreading word of the film.

他们两个沉浸在项目，但钱很快用完了。他们在2009年完成了剧本，但是，尽管很多投资者对电影中的幻想世界有兴趣，但没有人相信这样的电影可以在市场上出售。该项目被束之高阁了好几年，直到2013年6月梁旋将它发布到了微博上，向世界求助和传播这部电影。

Many animation fans called it "the dawn of the Chinese animation industry" and voted it as the "most anticipated animated film."
