1404-03  In   paragraph 16,why the author said :“the King‘s English is a class representation of a reality ’”?

1404-24:why did the author refer to “the king’s English is‘English as it should be spoken’the lower classes say with a jeer”

1404-10:In the Para3,the author wrote some annoying things of bar friends.Did it mean that the bar had become a good place for bar friends to relieve stress?   

1404-26:In paragraph 2, why the best conversationalists are those who are prepared to lose the opportunity to continue  the conversation and turn to listen to others' anecdotes? 

1404-29 What's the meaning of "One could have expected that it would be about then that the phrase would be coined." in paragraph 13?

140308,In paragraph 11,the last scentence,it refers to what? and why the author use the word "heirs", what's the purpose?

1403-02:In paragraph 21 "The bother about teaching chimpanzees how to talk is that they will probably try to talk sense and so ruin all conversation", here is the "chimpanzees" referring to human beings? Why do it say "talk sense and ruin all conversation"? It is too absolute. Just teach them when use pub English and when ues the King's English. Can not figure out that?

In para17, how to explain this metarphor "dictionary"? And what are the meaning and purpose of whole paragraph?

1404-27:In para2, why the purpose of argument is not to convince? If the purpose is not to convince, what it is ?

1404-25 In paragraph 3,"on the rocks" and "get up on the wrong side of the bed" are both metaphors. So what are the metaphorical meanings of them?

1404-23:Para.17 line 2, "all a writer needs is a pen…", why is there a "all" and a "a"? Is it against the grammaticality? Why did not use all writers or a writer?

1403-20 in paragraph 10,writer mainly wrote some food on tables of Saxon and Norman. But it seems has no relations with conversation--the topic. So why writer wrote this paragraph?
